Recycling For Apartment Residents

Recycling is good for the environment and it’s the law—City ordinance (PDF) bans recyclable paper, cardboard, glass and plastic bottles, and aluminum and tin cans from garbage containers.

When you recycle, you help keep garbage rates lower at your property and you conserve resources as well as reduce impact on climate change.

Go Beyond Curbside Recycling
Many items aren’t accepted in home recycling but can be taken to the Recycling & Disposal Stations or private recyclers. These include vehicle batteries and tires—See
Special Items for details. Reusing items also keeps them out of the waste stream. See our ideas for Reduce, Reuse and Exchange.
