Achievements made in 2007 and coming in 2008

  • In 2008 SDOT is installing 30 miles of bike lanes and sharrows
  • In 2008 SDOT is installing 300 new bike racks
  • SDOT just released an updated Bicycle Map and is releasing a second version this fall after we install the extra 30 miles of bike lanes and sharrows
  • SDOT is adding two new signed bike routes this spring: the Arboretum By-pass route that runs north and south to the west of the Arboretum and the Dexter Bike Lanes route from Downtown to the Fremont Bridge
  • The Burke-Gilman Trail “Missing Link” design will be at 100 percent this year.
